The Fiji Police Force is appealing to the public for assistance in locating a woman and her two young sons reported missing from Rakiraki. Sunita Devi, along with her sons, seven-year-old Krish and three-year-old Sahil Naidu, was last seen on January 24, 2025. Authorities are urging anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact the Rakiraki Police Station at 9904686.

This request for help comes amid a concerning trend of missing persons in Fiji, highlighting the vital role the community plays in ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals. Recent cases have included other missing persons such as 48-year-old Aliti Kula, who went missing in late July, and 13-year-old Kameli Waqanivere, reported missing earlier this month. Such incidents underscore the importance of vigilance and community involvement during these challenging times.

The Fiji Police have set up a dedicated line for information regarding missing persons, encouraging prompt reporting of any sightings or leads. The collective effort from the community can significantly enhance the likelihood of safe returns for those missing, reinforcing the notion that every piece of information is crucial. The police express deep gratitude for the public’s ongoing support and involvement, which remains key in the search efforts.

In these difficult moments, we hope for safe outcomes for all those missing and encourage everyone to remain alert and engaged in their communities.
