Heavyweight boxer Semi Dauloloma is preparing to challenge current title holder James Singh for the Boxing Commission of Fiji Heavyweight title at the Bluewater Boxing Promotion event at Lawaqa Park tomorrow.

Dauloloma emphasizes the importance of maintaining intense focus in the ring, cautioning that even a brief moment of distraction could lead to catastrophic consequences. He is confident in his training regimen and the new techniques he has incorporated, viewing pressure as a source of motivation.

In his strategy, Dauloloma intends to deplete Singh’s energy early on if Singh opts for an aggressive approach, but he is also ready to adapt if Singh employs a more tactical game plan. He acknowledges Singh’s significant contributions to boxing in Fiji and looks forward to a captivating match.

Dauloloma is appealing to fans for their support, assuring them that the fight will be exceptional. In addition to the heavyweight championship match, other bouts scheduled include Jr Binnu Singh versus Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title, a cruiserweight clash between veteran Savenaca Naliva and Sikeli Senidoko, and Ronald Naidu against Rakuro Daunivavana.

“My training is going well, learning new techniques and styles that will keep me sharp and fit for the upcoming fight,” stated Dauloloma. “There is a lot of pressure, but it’s a positive pressure that drives me to keep pushing and never give up.”

He expresses a strong desire to claim the heavyweight title, stating he is ready to exhaust Singh’s stamina in the ring. “If he comes out strong in the first round, I will drain his energy and empty his tank. If he plays smart, then may the best man win,” he remarked.

Dauloloma respects Singh’s preparation for the fight and acknowledges his longstanding impact on Fijian boxing. “I respect what he has done for Fiji boxing over the years. He is a good friend, but when it comes to business, we are like hungry lions seeking our prey.”

He urges all fans to attend and support him in what he anticipates will be the fight of the year. In another exciting matchup, the main event features Junior Binnu Singh against Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title, alongside Savenaca Naliva competing against Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight bout and Ronald Naidu facing Rakuro Daunivavana.
