Renovation projects at health facilities are currently being funded by the Government, according to Health Minister Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu. He stated that the ongoing minor works are being covered by the ministry’s budget.
As part of his tour in the northern region, Dr. Lalabalavu aimed to understand the challenges faced by nurses and explore potential solutions. He emphasized the importance of witnessing the developments within healthcare facilities in the Bua and Cakaudrove subdivisions.
Dr. Lalabalavu highlighted that healthcare workers have made notable progress in enhancing infrastructure through their internal resources. He pointed out the visible improvements in infrastructure, citing the nursing station in Daria as a specific example.
The minister confirmed that other health facilities are also undergoing development.
