The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Viliame Gavoka, has confirmed that there have been no additional cases linked to a recent incident at the Warwick Resort in Sigatoka. Seven guests experienced severe neurological symptoms after consuming a specific cocktail at a bar within the resort.

An investigation by the Health Ministry has determined that this incident is isolated and has not resulted in any further reports of similar symptoms at the resort or across Fiji as a whole. Gavoka emphasized the long-standing success and strong reputation of the Warwick Resort, assuring guests that this is not indicative of a broader issue.
