The Health Ministry has announced that it will not interfere with individuals suffering from diagnosed medical conditions who plan to participate in a healing crusade in Suva tomorrow.
In light of social media criticism surrounding the event, the ministry issued a statement affirming, “it is a faith-based event and acknowledges that all citizens in Fiji are free to practice their faith.”
The statement further advised that those diagnosed with medical conditions and currently undergoing treatment should continue their prescribed therapies to fully benefit from them.
Moreover, the Ministry emphasized the importance of not discontinuing any treatment without first seeking medical advice.
Individuals uncertain about whether to continue or discontinue their prescribed treatment are encouraged to reach out to their medical team, family doctor, or a nearby health facility for proper guidance.
