The Health Ministry has announced that it will respect the choices of individuals with diagnosed medical conditions who plan to attend a healing crusade in Suva tomorrow.
In light of criticism on social media regarding the event, the ministry released a statement affirming that it is a faith-based gathering, emphasizing that all individuals in Fiji have the right to practice their beliefs.
The Ministry advised that those undergoing treatment for medical conditions should continue their prescribed therapies to ensure they reap the full benefits of their treatment. It also cautioned against discontinuing any medical treatment without first consulting with a healthcare professional.
For individuals uncertain about whether to persist with or stop their prescribed medications, the Ministry recommends reaching out to their medical team, family doctor, or a nearby health facility for guidance and support.
