Healing Crusade: Health Ministry’s Surprising Advice for Patients

The Health Ministry has stated that it will respect the wishes of individuals with diagnosed medical conditions attending a healing crusade in Suva tomorrow.

In light of criticism on social media regarding the event, the ministry released a statement emphasizing that it is a faith-based gathering and that all individuals in Fiji are entitled to practice their faith freely.

However, the Ministry recommends that those with diagnosed medical conditions who are undergoing treatment should continue their prescribed medications to fully benefit from their treatments.

Additionally, the Ministry urges anyone currently on prescribed treatment to consult with their healthcare provider before stopping any medication. They advised individuals uncertain about their treatment plan to reach out to their medical team, family doctor, or local health facility for guidance and support.
