Ubayd Haider, previously known as Nathan Sigh, is gearing up for a significant return to the ring, where he will face China’s Runqi Zhou for the IDO Asia Pacific Featherweight title.
Haider, an ambitious athlete aiming for international success, has been diligently training for this upcoming match. Although he has been training alone, his motivation and focus remain unwavering as he pursues his objectives.
He shared how boxing has been an integral part of his life, highlighted by a strong family tradition. “My father has been one of my biggest motivations. For nearly 47 years, he’s worked tirelessly to create a world champion out of Fiji, and I don’t want to disappoint him,” he noted.
Haider emphasized, “I will let my preparations speak for themselves and I won’t let my fans down.”
The event, part of the South Pacific Boxing series, will feature three international title fights at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park on October 26.
