The Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) in Suva has welcomed Kanokwan Imprasittichai as its new executive chef and Taione Masuwale as the director of Food & Beverage.
Kanokwan Imprasittichai, originally from Thailand, has a distinguished career that spans 13 years, during which she has held key positions at celebrated establishments around the globe, including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok and Bistro by Wolfgang Puck in Sydney. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and specialized training in Traditional Thai Cooking and Asian Cookery, she will now oversee all culinary operations at the hotel and lead a team of talented chefs, ensuring the highest standards in food quality and presentation.
Taione Masuwale, from Fiji, brings extensive experience from his previous role as Central Support Manager at Sourdough South Ltd in Hampshire, UK. With over 18 years in the food and beverage sector, he has worked at several noted UK high-street venues, including All Bar One, Turtle Bay, and Cóte Brasserie in London and along the South Coast. He will be responsible for managing the Food and Beverage department, with an emphasis on improving service quality and enhancing guest satisfaction.
