Team Pro Pack clinched victory at the Caritas Fiji Golf Tournament, sponsored by Fiji Airways, held last Saturday at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. The successful team comprised Kishor Kumar, Inoke Bolakoro, Damien Sheridan, and Roneel Prakash, who collectively achieved a score of 56.125 points.
Damien Sheridan, participating in his first-ever golf tournament, expressed his excitement about being part of the winning team, highlighting the joy of the experience.
Following closely in second place was Team Rariben, featuring Shelly Rariden from Michigan, along with Father Sigarara and David Qiolevu, who finished with a score of 56.3 points. Rariden remarked on the warm hospitality received during their visit and shared that they have known Father Sigarara since his time in the United States, explaining the connection that brought them to the tournament. She also praised Fiji’s beautiful cultural environment, noting their commitment to supporting charitable golf events back home.
In third place was Team Mali, consisting of Nitulesh Mali, Avinesh Dutt, Shivneel Gounder, and Abid Hussain, accumulating a score of 56.62 points.
Arthur Groom, director of Caritas Fiji, expressed gratitude to Fiji Airways for its support as the main sponsor for the second consecutive year. He emphasized that the proceeds from the tournament would contribute to various charitable initiatives aimed at assisting those in need within the community.
