South African Stephen Swanepoel has captured the amateur title at the Coastal Rental Natadola Open Golf 2024. He achieved this after scoring 76 on the five-hole course, with Melbourne-based Adish Kumar finishing in second place.
In the professional category, Roneel Parkash, assistant manager at Denarau Golf Club, emerged victorious, defeating Sam Lee, who is currently based in South Korea. “It feels great to return to Natadola Bay. The Fiji Open is next,” Parkash commented.
Avinesh Datt, the manager of Natadola Golf Course, noted that the weather for the Natadola Bay Golf Open 2024 was excellent. He expressed gratitude to all sponsors for their support and assured that next year’s event will be even bigger and better. Datt also acknowledged the grounds staff for maintaining the course in pristine condition, along with the clubhouse and pro-shop staff for their hard work.
In addition to the amateur and professional categories, other notable awards included Suruj Maharaj for Men’s Overall Nett (69), Jack Butler for Men’s A Grade (72), Ben Herter for Men’s B Grade (71), Rajeev Patel for Men’s C Grade (76), Amy Subam for Ladies Gross (93), and Susie Yee for Ladies Overall Nett (86).
