Stephen Swanepoel from South Africa emerged as the amateur champion at the Coastal Rental Natadola Open Golf 2024, finishing with a score of 76. He outperformed Melbourne’s Adish Kumar, who placed second.
In the professional category, Roneel Parkash, assistant manager at Denarau Golf Club, clinched the title, surpassing Sam Lee, now residing in South Korea. Parkash expressed his excitement about returning to Natadola Bay, stating, “Good feeling going back to Natadola Bay. Fiji Open next.”
Avinesh Datt, the manager of the Natadola Golf course, praised the excellent weather that graced the event and extended his gratitude to all sponsors for making the occasion a success. He assured attendees that next year’s event would be even more grand. Datt also acknowledged the ground staff for maintaining the course’s pristine condition and appreciated the hard work of the clubhouse and pro-shop staff.
In addition to the main titles, various other awards were distributed: Suruj Maharaj won the Men’s Overall Nett with a score of 69, Jack Butler took the Men’s A Grade title with 72, Ben Herter won the Men’s B Grade with 71, Rajeev Patel was the Men’s C Grade winner with 76, Amy Subam was crowned Ladies Gross Winner with 93, and Susie Yee secured the Ladies Overall Nett with 86.
