Additionally, Fijian golfers Shakil Pillay and Rajat Rai are poised to participate in the NEC Master of Amateur Golf Championship scheduled for January 2025 in Melbourne, Australia. To support their endeavor, Golf Fiji has designated $5,000, a move inspired by their impressive performance at the Asian Amateur Golf Championship in 2024.
On the grassroots level, Golf Fiji plans to cultivate its partnerships with local clubs such as the Fiji Golf Club, Ba, Lautoka, and Novotel Golf Course in Nadi.
