NOVOTEL Suva Lami Bay has announced the appointment of Goktan Kavak as its new general manager, marking a significant leadership change for the hotel. Mr. Kavak arrives with a wealth of experience that spans across Fiji, the South Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kavak has been associated with prestigious global brands, including Hilton, Sheraton, and Warwick Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, he served as the general manager of Warwick Fiji Resort, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing service delivery, guest experiences, and operational standards. His leadership also contributed to notable improvements in the resort’s brand reputation, earning it Trip Advisor’s Best of the Best award.
In his new capacity at Novotel Suva Lami Bay, Mr. Kavak will oversee the hotel’s operational and commercial strategies, prioritizing guest satisfaction, colleague development, and sustained business performance. Adrian Williams, the hotel’s chief operating officer for the Pacific region, expressed his enthusiasm about Mr. Kavak joining the team, stating that his experience will be crucial for the property’s future growth.
Mr. Kavak’s appointment officially took effect last month, and he will report directly to Cluster General Manager Jim Moore.
