Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka voiced these concerns during the Forum Leaders Dialogue at the Tonga High School Indoor Stadium with the UN Secretary General.

He highlighted that the diverse and urgent threats affecting the world today reflect its changing nature, emphasizing that collective action is essential for addressing these challenges.

Rabuka stressed the importance of robust international cooperation, diplomacy, and a commitment to upholding the ideals of the United Nations.

UN Secretary General António Guterres reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to the Pacific Islands, stating that all UN staff in these regions are dedicated to implementing community-focused and people-centered solutions.
