Rabuka emphasized that the diverse and urgent threats confronting the world today reflect profound changes occurring globally. He underscored that collective action is the only effective solution to these issues.
He further stressed the importance of strong international cooperation, diplomacy, and a commitment to upholding the ideals of the United Nations.
UN Secretary General António Guterres reaffirmed the UN’s dedication to the Pacific Islands, assuring that all UN personnel working in these regions are committed to developing community-based and people-centered solutions.
