The upcoming 68th Miss Hibiscus Festival is set to feature the unveiling of the Luxury Vintage Swarovski and Pearl Crown for the title of Miss Hibiscus 2024. This exquisite crown has been designed by master jewellery artist Maria Yang, who combines contemporary design with a rich background in jewellery appraisal. Yang is certified as an emerald appraiser through the Hong Kong Jewellery Institute and holds membership in the China Collectors Association.
The crown itself showcases intricate craftsmanship, incorporating alloy, silver, and gold plating, and is embellished with elegant Swarovski crystals and pearls. The winner of Miss Hibiscus 2024 will be awarded a return flight with Fiji Airways to one of three destinations—Los Angeles, Hong Kong, or Singapore. In addition, she will receive a cash prize of $1,000, a four-night cruise with Blue Lagoon Cruises to the Yasawa Group, and a two-night luxury stay—all expenses paid—at Nanuku Resort in Pacific Harbour and Radisson Blu Resort on Denarau.
Moreover, the winner will be presented with a $500 skincare package from Nama Fiji, along with two personal billboards located at the entrance to Suva City, courtesy of Go Advertising, and a day pass to the Sabeto zipline attraction.
For the competitors, the first runner-up will earn $750, a one-year membership at Malamala Beach Club, and additional prizes, while the second runner-up will receive $500, a day cruise to South Sea Island, and other rewards. All contestants will also enjoy a day pass to the Sabeto zipline in Nadi.
