GHS delivered a significant upset in the competition by defeating the favored Ratu Kadavulevu School 12-7 in the quarterfinals last Saturday. Parker noted that the coaching staff has been focusing on several areas for improvement as they prepare for the semi-finals.

He expressed concern over some players dealing with minor injuries, hoping they would recover by Saturday. Parker praised his team’s remarkable achievement in reaching the semi-finals for the first time in any grade, marking a historic moment for the school.

He highlighted the strong support from parents, alumni, and the school management as essential to the team’s success. According to him, the coaching staff has been excellent and has motivated the players to maintain discipline both in school and during training.

The players are enthusiastic about playing in the stadium for the first time on Saturday. Parker emphasized the significance of facing a renowned team like Marist, who they have not encountered this season. He expressed pride in competing against the defending champions.

Parker encouraged all GHS rugby supporters to wear their school colors of pink, white, and blue on Saturday. He urged fans to come out in full force to support the team while also wishing good luck to other schools competing in the semi-finals.
