Nadi President Mohammed Mohin Rafiq is urging fans to support the team as they prepare to take on the Tongan national team in a friendly match this Wednesday. Rafiq emphasized that competing against an international opponent on home turf presents a significant learning experience for the squad.
“This match will provide us with the chance to compete at an international level, and our fans will be instrumental in uplifting the players. I encourage them to attend in large numbers and act as our twelfth player,” Rafiq stated.
He also expressed that the team is enthusiastic about delivering a strong performance to make their supporters proud. “The boys are really looking forward to the match and will definitely aim to make all the fans proud,” he added.
Tickets for the match are available for $6 for adults, while children under 10 can enter for free. The game is scheduled to start at 7 pm at Prince Charles Park.
