Marist 7s President, Lawrence Tikaram, has announced that several overseas teams have expressed interest in participating, promising an even more competitive atmosphere.
At the launch, details regarding the 7s format and the deadline for clubs to complete their registration will be unveiled. This particular tournament is notable in the Fiji Bitter 7s series, as it offers the most bonus points for any team, increasing the stakes for competitors.
In an effort to promote inclusivity and expand opportunities, the 2025 Marist 7s will also feature U-20 and women’s rugby divisions, showcasing the growth of the sport at various levels.
The event is scheduled to take place at the HFC Stadium from March 27 to March 29, further emphasizing its significance in the rugby calendar.
