The prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products, as well as diesel and kerosene, are set to rise starting tomorrow, January 1, 2025. The cost of a 4.5 kg gas cylinder will increase by 18 cents, bringing the new price to $15.53, while the 12 kg cylinder will see a 50 cent rise, resulting in a price of $41.42.
In terms of bulk gas, the price will rise by four cents, now pricing at $3.20 per kg, and autogas will increase by three cents, making it $2.25 per litre. Additionally, both diesel and kerosene prices will go up by four cents per litre, with diesel now at $2.31 per litre and kerosene at $1.78 per litre. However, the prices for motor spirit and premix remain unchanged at $2.67 per litre and $2.51 per litre, respectively.
As consumers navigate these price increases, it’s essential to consider energy efficiency measures and alternative sources of energy that can help mitigate costs in the long term. With continued focus on energy sustainability, there are opportunities for innovation in the energy sector that could lead to more stable pricing in the future.
In summary, the adjustments in fuel prices may pose a challenge for consumers, but they also emphasize the need for energy awareness and efficiency to help manage expenses moving forward.
