The G9 group of Independent Members of Parliament has officially joined the People’s Coalition Government without any preconditions, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka confirmed. During a press interaction, he highlighted that the G9’s commitment is to work collaboratively with the government for the benefit of the people.

The integration of G9 MPs is seen as a significant shift in Fiji’s political landscape, with former Police Commissioner Ioane Naivalurua assuming the role of Minister for Policing.
