The semi-finals for the 2024 BIC Southern Business House Futsal Soccer Cup have been established following the completion of the quarter-finals held last Wednesday at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
In the first quarter-final, the Ministry of Education triumphed over one of the tournament favorites, CJ Patel Pacific, with a decisive 6-0 victory. Although both teams featured District representatives, the Ministry of Education, bolstered by National futsal players, proved to be too strong for CJ Patel Pacific, who were led by Navua rep Mosese Baleigaga and Zainal Ali.
The second quarter-final witnessed newcomers All Freight Logistics securing a win against Vodafone, finishing with a score of 5-2.
The semi-finals are scheduled for Tuesday at the FMF Gymnasium, beginning at 6pm, with the finals also set to take place on August 27 at the same venue.
The champion of this BIC-sponsored competition will receive a $2000 cash prize.
