The semi-finals for the 2024 BIC Southern Business House Futsal Soccer Cup have been confirmed following the quarter-finals held last Wednesday at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
In the first quarter-final, the Ministry of Education delivered a solid performance, defeating CJ Patel Pacific 6-0. MOE, strengthened by national futsal representatives, showcased their skills, while CJ Patel Pacific was led by Navua’s Mosese Baleigaga and Zainal Ali.
The second quarter-final saw newcomers All Freight Logistics triumph over Vodafone with a score of 5-2.
The semi-finals are scheduled for next Tuesday at the FMF Gymnasium, starting at 6 PM, with the finals expected on August 27 at the same location. The champion of the tournament will receive a prize of $2000.
Event organizer Alan Kumar from Bula Events Group praised the event as a night of exciting futsal, noting the strong turnout that reflects the growing popularity of the sport. He expressed gratitude to supporters and emphasized the event’s role in fostering team bonding and networking opportunities.
Thanks were also given to major sponsors BIC and Blue Gas for their contributions to the event.

Plate semi-finals at 6 PM: IHG vs. PCAL, 6:30 PM: Bat Fiji vs. PWC.
Cup semi-finals at 7 PM: Ministry of Education vs. NTC, 7:30 PM: All Freight Logistics vs. DHL.
Shield semi-finals at 8 PM: Pernix Fiji vs. RBF, 8:30 PM: NPDL vs. Tradewinds Marine.
Bowl semi-finals at 9 PM: Carpenters Fiji vs. FCCC, 9:30 PM: EFL vs. HFC.
