Lami and Nasinu showcased their resilience on the second day of the 2024 Extra Supermarket Futsal Inter District Championship (IDC) at the Vodafone Arena in Suva. Both teams registered impressive victories that bolstered their chances of reaching the semifinals.

After a narrow 4-3 defeat to Nadi on the opening day, Lami bounced back powerfully, overpowering Labasa with a commanding 8-1 win. Nasinu, having endured a challenging 8-0 loss to the reigning champions Suva, made a remarkable comeback by defeating a talented Ba team 6-2.

In addition to these exciting matches, Suva and Lautoka continued their winning streaks, each securing their second consecutive victories. Lautoka narrowly defeated their neighboring team Nadi with a score of 5-3, while Suva delivered a stunning performance against Savusavu, winning decisively 10-1.

Unfortunately, Labasa and Savusavu are now out of contention for the semifinals following their two consecutive defeats.
