Futsal coaching standards in Fiji are poised for significant enhancement with the recent implementation of the OFC Senior Futsal C-Licence course, organized by the Fiji Football Association at their academy in Ba. This inaugural course has attracted 16 participants from across the nation, all eager to advance their coaching skills in this dynamic format of football.

Led by national futsal head coach Jerry Sam, the course emphasizes the critical importance of commitment and enthusiasm among the aspiring coaches. Sam stated, “The course is designed to provide these aspiring young coaches with the skills and knowledge required to assess the competency of their training programs and eventually become licensed futsal coaches in Fiji.”
