The recent inauguration of the new Pacific Energy service station in Nadi highlights a significant move towards economic development fueled by collaborative efforts with local landowners. “This investment has been made possible by those who believe in our district and our people,” Ratu Vuniyani stated, pinpointing the service station’s role in improving vehicle accessibility and generating job opportunities for the local community. He emphasized that the new facility would greatly assist those in need, providing better access to essential services.
Stephane Cadel, CEO of Pacific Energy, characterized the service station as a pivotal investment that goes beyond just economic returns, aligning closely with the company’s commitment to community engagement. “Pacific Energy takes pride in its community-focused investments in Fiji,” Cadel mentioned, echoing the firm’s slogan, “We Are Who You Are.” This newly inaugurated station represents the third Pacific Energy site in Nadi, with plans for further expansion already on the horizon.
Babu Ganesh, the property owner, expressed pride in realizing the nearly $3 million investment, which not only improves fuel access but also reflects ongoing community development initiatives. Rajeev Prasad, managing director of the 24/7 service station, shared his optimistic vision for future growth, indicating the project’s importance in the region.
On a festive note, the opening day also featured a community-engaging event, signifying the drawing for a Nissan Navara at the service station, further intertwining the initiative with local culture.
