There has been a slight increase in the prices of certain fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products effective today, September 1, 2024.
The price of Motor Spirit has risen by three cents, bringing it to $2.90 per litre, up from $2.87. The cost of premix fuel has also gone up by one cent, now priced at $2.72 per litre.
In contrast, the price of diesel has decreased by two cents, now available at $2.52 per litre, and kerosene has similarly dropped by two cents to $1.95 per litre.
The price of a 4.5kg LPG cylinder has increased by 13 cents, resulting in a retail price of $14.86, while a 12kg cylinder has seen a price hike of 35 cents, now costing $39.63.
Bulk gas is now priced at $3.06, which is three cents higher, and autogas has also increased by three cents to reach $2.15 per litre.
