Starting January 1, 2025, the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products, diesel, and kerosene will see a notable increase. A 4.5 kg LPG cylinder will now cost $15.53, marking an increase of 18 cents from the previous price of $15.35. Similarly, the cost of a 12 kg cylinder will rise by 50 cents to $41.42.
In the bulk gas market, the price will rise by four cents, bringing the cost to $3.20 per kg, while autogas will be priced at $2.25 per liter, reflecting a three-cent increase. Additionally, both diesel and kerosene prices will rise by four cents per liter, with diesel now selling at $2.31 and kerosene at $1.78.
It is worth noting that prices for motor spirit and premix will remain stable, with motor spirit at $2.67 per liter and premix at $2.51 per liter.
In summary, while this increase in fuel prices may be a concern for consumers, it is part of a broader trend that reflects global market dynamics. With the continuation of stable prices in other areas, there is hope that consumers will adapt and find ways to manage their energy costs more effectively.
