Fuel prices are set to decrease by a few cents starting tomorrow. The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) has announced the new regulated prices for Unleaded Petrol, Premix, Kerosene, Diesel, and LPG products for October 2024.
These price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The prices established by FCCC represent maximum wholesale and retail prices, allowing wholesalers and retailers the option to sell these products at or below the authorized prices. FCCC inspectors will conduct checks in the coming weeks to ensure compliance with these regulations.
Consumers are encouraged to report any unfair trading practices, including hoarding or overcharging by retailers, to the FCCC enforcement teams.
