Starting tomorrow, November 1, 2024, fuel prices will experience a reduction, while the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products will see an increase.

The price adjustments for motor fuel are as follows: motor spirit will decrease from $2.73 per litre to $2.62; premix fuel will lower by 12 cents, from $2.55 to $2.43 per litre; kerosene will drop from $1.79 to $1.67 per litre; and diesel will reduce by 15 cents, from $2.33 to $2.18 per litre.

On the other hand, LPG prices are rising. A 4.5kg gas cylinder will now cost $14.97 following a 17 cents increase, while a 12kg cylinder will increase from $39.46 to $39.91. Additionally, the price of bulk gas will rise by 4 cents from $3.04 to $3.08 per kg, and autogas will experience a 2 cents increase, moving from $2.14 to $2.16 per litre.

This price shift brings some relief to consumers regarding fuel costs amidst rising costs in other sectors. Such changes can encourage increased transportation and movement, potentially benefiting economic activity in the region.
