Starting tomorrow, November 1, 2024, fuel prices are set to decrease across various categories, marking a positive change for consumers. The price of motor spirit will drop from $2.73 per liter to $2.62, providing a relief at the pump. Similarly, the cost of premix will see a reduction from $2.55 to $2.43 per liter, while kerosene prices will decline from $1.79 to $1.67 per liter. Diesel will also experience a decrease of 15 cents, falling from $2.33 to $2.18 per liter.
However, it is important to note that while fuel prices are declining, the cost of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products is on the rise. A 4.5kg cylinder of gas will now be priced at $14.97, after a slight increase of 17 cents. The price of a 12kg gas cylinder is also climbing, increasing from $39.46 to $39.91. Additionally, the bulk gas price has risen by 4 cents, now standing at $3.08 per kilogram, while the price of autogas will increase by 2 cents to $2.16 per liter.
This fluctuation in fuel prices showcases the ongoing changes in the energy market, and while some consumers may face higher costs for LPG products, the reductions in standard fuel types provide some financial relief for many households and businesses. With these adjustments, consumers may find an opportunity to save on transportation and energy costs, fostering a sense of optimism for their monthly budgets.
