Pacific Energy is launching a new initiative in partnership with Atpack Fiji Ltd and the Pacific Recycling Foundation by placing collection bins at eight strategic service stations across Fiji. This effort is designed to support a gift and stationery drive during the Christmas season, specifically aimed at benefiting children from families involved in the Collection Pillars of Recycling (CPR) program.

The CPR program plays a crucial role in Fiji’s recycling and waste management landscape, assisting families who collect recyclables under difficult conditions from dump sites and public areas. These families significantly contribute to environmental sustainability, and the initiative aims to provide them with some holiday cheer.

According to Pacific Energy’s CEO Stephane Cadel, this marks the second consecutive year of the company’s partnership with the Pacific Recycling Foundation for this cause. He expressed pride in expanding their outreach by placing collection bins at the service stations, allowing customers to easily donate gifts for the children of these dedicated families.

The drive aims to bring joy to the holidays and provide essential school supplies to children in need. Cadel emphasized that Pacific Energy believes in fostering community values, stating, “We are who you are,” which reflects their commitment to the wellbeing of the communities they serve.

Collection bins will be available at Pacific Energy service stations in Nabua, Kinoya, Nausori, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba. The last day for drop-offs is Wednesday, December 4.

This initiative highlights the importance of community involvement and showcases how businesses can play a pivotal role in uplifting the lives of those in their area. Through collaboration and support, Pacific Energy is making a meaningful impact this holiday season.
