The costs of fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products will see an increase starting tomorrow, December 1, 2024.

The price of a liter of motor spirit will rise by 5 cents, going from $2.62 to $2.67. Similarly, the price of premix will change from $2.43 to $2.51 per liter. Kerosene will experience a 7-cent increase, leading to a new price of $1.74 a liter, while diesel will increase from $2.18 to $2.27 per liter.

In terms of gas cylinders, a 4.5kg cylinder’s price will rise from $14.97 to $15.35, and a 12kg cylinder will see an increase of $1.01, changing from $39.91 to $40.92. Additionally, the cost of bulk gas will go up by 8 cents, from $3.08 to $3.16, and the price of autogas will rise from $2.16 to $2.22 per liter.

These price adjustments reflect the ongoing fluctuations in the energy market and may impact consumers, particularly those reliant on these products for transportation and daily household activities.

While rising prices can be challenging for households, it’s important to remember that these adjustments can also encourage users to seek alternative energy solutions or adopt more fuel-efficient practices, potentially leading to long-term savings and sustainability.
