Fuel and gas prices are set to rise starting tomorrow, February 1, 2025. The new pricing reflects a 2 cents per litre increase across various fuel types. Motor spirit will now cost $2.69 per litre, up from $2.67. The price for premix fuel will rise slightly from $2.51 to $2.53 per litre, while kerosene will see an increase from $1.78 to $1.80 per litre. Diesel prices will also increase, moving from $2.31 to $2.33 per litre.

In terms of gas, the price of a 4.5kg cylinder will rise by 25 cents, bringing the price to $15.78, up from $15.53. The price for a 12kg gas cylinder will increase by 67 cents, going from $41.42 to $42.09. Additionally, bulk gas pricing will increase from $3.20 per kg to $3.25 per kg, while autogas will rise from $2.25 to $2.28 per litre.

This increase reflects ongoing trends in energy prices, which are influenced by various factors including global oil markets and supply chain dynamics. While any price increase can be challenging for consumers, it is essential to consider the broader environmental implications of fuel and gas consumption.
