Elenoa Suvewa Ratudradra is a testament to the power of perseverance, dedication, and faith. With over ten years in the tourism and hospitality industry, she currently serves as the food and beverage supervisor at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort on Denarau Island in Nadi.
Originally from Namotomoto, Nadi, Ms. Ratudradra has her roots in Nakabuta, a region renowned for its beautiful pottery. At 43 years old, she is a proud mother to four children—two boys and two girls. Reflecting on her career, she shared how her journey at Sheraton began in 2004 as a temporary waiter at the Verandah Restaurant. Over the years, her dedication and skill development led her to the Wet Edge Restaurant, where she spent five enriching years.
The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed unforeseen challenges for Ms. Ratudradra, but her resolve remained strong. In 2022, she returned to Sheraton as a guest service agent, showcasing her enthusiasm and resilience. Her commitment was recognized with promotions to team leader in 2023 and to supervisor earlier this year.
Ms. Ratudradra regards Sheraton as her second home, a place that has fostered both her personal and professional growth. She particularly enjoys the vibrant ambiance of Sega Na Leqa (SNL), a favorite spot for connecting with guests and colleagues.
She attributes her successes to divine guidance and expresses deep gratitude to her leaders for their mentorship, emphasizing that faith and hard work enable individuals to overcome obstacles. “Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Each experience allows us to learn, adapt, and enhance our skills,” she advises her colleagues.
