National representative Thomas Dunn has officially joined Bula FC, a local professional football club, in anticipation of the inaugural Oceania Football Federation Pro League set to commence next year. Dunn hails from Togoru Settlement in Navua and has demonstrated a remarkable ascent through the ranks of Fijian football, first discovering his passion for the sport during his school days at Vashist Muni Primary School.
What began as a casual after-school activity rapidly evolved into a serious pursuit as Dunn’s talent became increasingly apparent. By the time he reached Form 5, his skills had caught the eye of talent scouts. In 2019, he was drafted into the senior team of Navua FC shortly after representing Fiji at the U17 level.
Dunn’s football journey has been notable; he has proudly worn the national colors for Fiji across various age groups, including U17, U20, U23, and ultimately the senior national team. Additionally, his experience spans beyond Fiji, having spent time in New Zealand with Eastern Suburbs, where he gained vital international exposure.
