A young and ambitious entrepreneur, Abdul Shafraz from Vuda, Lautoka, is making significant strides in the local jewelry-making scene, thanks to support from the Youth and Sports Ministry.

In July, the Ministry provided Shafraz with vital materials and equipment that have proven instrumental in advancing his jewelry business. Before receiving this support, he had secured a loan from the Fiji Development Bank to launch his venture, and with the Ministry’s assistance, he has successfully managed to repay the loan.

To broaden his business’s reach, Shafraz has also embraced online sales via his Facebook page, “Jewelry Heaven Fiji,” which allows him to connect with customers across the nation.

The Youth and Sports Ministry aims to empower young entrepreneurs like Shafraz, demonstrating a commitment to fostering creativity and business acumen among the youth.

This story is an inspiring example of how governmental support can drive individual entrepreneurship, showcasing the potential for personal growth and economic development in local communities. It highlights the opportunities available when young individuals are given the tools and resources they need to succeed.
