From Shy Student to Confident Advocate: Nataliyah’s Journey

Spread the love

Nataliyah Taga, a 19-year-old student at Fiji National University, is making waves as she pursues her dream of a career in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Encouraged by her aunt, the owner of Lei Entertainers, Nataliyah took a brave step by entering the Coral Coast Festival as Miss Lei Entertainers.

Originally hesitant due to her shy nature, Nataliyah recognized this platform as an opportunity for personal growth. “This was a way I could gain more confidence and be more outspoken,” she expressed. The festival, themed “Breaking the Waves of Addiction,” has inspired Nataliyah to focus her advocacy on the significance of family time, which she believes is crucial for healing and resilience.

Coming from a humble background as the youngest of six children raised by a single mother, Nataliyah’s strong family bonds have been instrumental in her journey. Her siblings work to support the family, but it is the love and unity they share that she values most.

Nataliyah’s experience encourages others, particularly those who are shy or introverted, to step outside their comfort zones, embrace self-confidence, and find their voices. Her journey not only highlights personal perseverance but also underscores the importance of community and support systems.

This story serves as a reminder that even in challenging circumstances, nurturing connections and promoting self-advocacy can lead to empowerment and growth. As Nataliyah continues to seek her goals, her commitment to personal development and family values sets a positive example for others to follow.
