Gold medallist Monishkar Krishna Naidu’s inspiring journey emphasizes the essential role of family, faith, and sacrifice in achieving greatness. Hailing from Saweni, Lautoka, the 24-year-old recently made history by earning the prestigious Gold Medal at Fiji National University’s 2025 graduation ceremony, where he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Student in Physics as he graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Science (Physics).
Naidu proudly fulfilled a promise to his parents, Vinodan and Mohini Naidu, demonstrating the influence of their unwavering support throughout his educational journey. “This gold medal is more than an academic accolade — it represents years of perseverance, unspoken sacrifices, and undying love,” he stated, underlining the emotional significance of his accomplishment.
