Tasweed Zunar Ali, motivated by his father’s legacy on their family dairy farm, has pursued his dream of becoming a dairy farmer despite facing societal challenges. Following his father’s death in 2021, he took over the farm and successfully increased the herd from 20 to 60 cows, producing approximately 230 liters of milk each day for Fiji Dairy Limited.

Tasweed has encountered obstacles such as dog attacks and adverse weather conditions, but he has received assistance from the Agriculture Ministry and the Dairy Extension Programme, which has helped him enhance pasture management and feeding practices. He urges aspiring farmers to follow their passion for agriculture, prioritize animal welfare and hygiene, and find satisfaction in their work.
