Manaini Lesavua, a 32-year-old from Nawaka, Nadi, recently graduated from the Fiji National University with a Trade Diploma in Baking and Patisserie. Reflecting on her achievements, she was overcome with emotion as she acknowledged the sacrifices her mother made to support her education while raising four children under ten.

Lesavua, who was among approximately 200 graduates honored at the Vodafone Arena in Suva, expressed deep gratitude towards her mother for the financial support that made her studies possible, especially during her times as a private student. Despite facing challenges balancing motherhood with her education, she credited her husband for assisting with household tasks, allowing her to focus on her studies.
