After a four-year hiatus for motherhood, Maria Adimainatuvu celebrated her graduation from the University of the South Pacific with great joy. Filled with emotion, Ms. Adimainatuvu accepted her Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism and Hospitality Management, marking a significant step toward her aspirations in the tourism field.
“Completing this degree has significantly boosted my self-esteem and given me a profound sense of accomplishment,” she shared. While taking care of her family kept her away from her studies for a long time, she found the experience rewarding.

At 27, and hailing from Kaba Village in Tailevu, she is optimistic that with the backing of her peers, friends, and family, she can accomplish even more. “Nothing is impossible; this is not going to be my last graduation. I am determined to pursue the next level,” she stated.
