Sivoni Ligaiviu, a dedicated educator from Kadavu Provincial Secondary School, expresses gratitude for the opportunities provided by Fiji National University’s blended learning programs, which have enabled him to earn a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree with a focus on Industrial Arts.
Residing on the island of Kadavu, Ligaiviu successfully completed his studies through the university’s online classes, showcasing the accessibility and flexibility of modern education. Originally hailing from Solotavui Village and having maternal roots in Waitovu Village, Ovalau, Ligaiviu is unwavering in his commitment to furthering his qualifications.
“I’ve always made it a point to upgrade my qualifications. As a teacher in Kadavu, graduating today was made possible through the online classes offered by FNU,” he stated.
Displaying ambition and determination, Ligaiviu has already embarked on Postgraduate studies and aspires to achieve a PhD in the future. He expressed the importance of continual learning, saying, “It’s important to continue upgrading my qualifications. I’ve already started my Postgraduate units and my goal is to one day earn a PhD.” He anticipates graduating with his Postgraduate qualification in December of the following year.
