Sivoni Ligaiviu, a dedicated teacher from Kadavu Provincial Secondary School, expresses immense gratitude for the blended learning program at Fiji National University (FNU), which facilitated his recent graduation with a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) specializing in Industrial Arts.
Residing in Kadavu did not deter Ligaiviu from pursuing his educational goals; he successfully completed his studies through FNU’s comprehensive online classes. Hailing from Solotavui Village in Kadavu and connected to Waitovu Village in Ovalau, he is resolute in advancing his qualifications.
Ligaiviu affirmed, “I’ve always made it a point to upgrade my qualifications. As a teacher in Kadavu, graduating today was made possible through the online classes offered by FNU.” His passion for education doesn’t stop at this achievement; he has already embarked on Postgraduate units and aspires to attain a doctorate in the future.
“I believe it is essential to keep enhancing my qualifications. I’ve begun my Postgraduate units, and my objective is to earn a PhD one day,” he shared, with aspirations to complete his Postgraduate qualification by December next year.
