Mitieli Vasikali Kaloudroweti has developed a profound passion for the tourism sector since he began his internship at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa two years ago. He has ascended to the role of digital marketing executive, where he blends strategic thinking with creativity in his daily tasks.
In his position, Kaloudroweti engages in various activities such as crafting digital content, managing social media accounts, analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and collaborating with teams to promote events while ensuring consistent messaging. At just 28 years old, he brings a diverse background, hailing from Naloto in Verata, with family ties to Sikituru Village in Nadi. He is the youngest of four siblings and holds a degree in human resource and tourism management from the University of the South Pacific.
Kaloudroweti’s journey began with a three-month stint in the talent and culture department, which serves as Sofitel’s human resources. He quickly transitioned to the front office, where he directly engaged with guests, enhancing his social skills and emphasizing the importance of hospitality.
