Rabih Yazbek has been appointed as the new Head of Client Coverage for ANZ in the United Kingdom and Europe, effective after he concludes his role as Country Head for Fiji in early April. During his tenure in Fiji, Yazbek was instrumental in bolstering ANZ’s presence in the region and facilitating economic recovery in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under his leadership, ANZ Fiji saw significant growth in both the Commercial and Retail Banking sectors, while also enhancing its digital banking strategy. His commitment to nurturing local talent and implementing strong risk management practices contributed to establishing ANZ Fiji as a formidable institution, equipped for continued success.
Sarah Stubbings, ANZ’s Pacific Regional Executive, commended Yazbek’s impactful contributions, highlighting his ability to cultivate deep relationships with clients and regulatory bodies, alongside fostering a culture aligned with ANZ’s values. She emphasized that his legacy will benefit the organization moving forward.
