Adi Akisi Ravoka is resolutely pursuing her educational ambitions, having recently graduated with a Certificate in Automotive Mechanical Engineering from the Pacific Polytech Campus in Tagitagi, Tavua. At 28 years old, and a proud mother of three, Ravoka’s graduation marks a pivotal moment in her life as she joins 130 other graduates from the technical and vocational institution.
Reflecting on her educational journey, Ravoka, a former student of Vatukaloko Secondary School, considers this achievement a significant stepping stone towards building a brighter future. Despite experiencing challenges along the way, including motherhood and financial hurdles, she remained determined. Originally aspiring to become a teacher, she is now focused on how her newfound skills will allow her to contribute positively in the workplace.
Ravoka is already envisioning a future where she can teach automotive engineering, hoping to inspire and make a lasting impact on her future students. She believes that her education has opened up many opportunities for her, stating, “The skills and knowledge I have gained here will allow me to contribute meaningfully to any workplace.”
