The New England Free Jacks have secured the signing of Fijian Drua prop Jone Koroiduadua. The 25-year-old, hailing from Nalebaleba in Nadroga, joined the Drua in the 2022 season following a two-year period with the French Top 14 club Clermont.

In an official statement, the Free Jacks expressed their excitement, stating that Koroiduadua will significantly strengthen their front row as they look to build on recent achievements and further succeed in Major League Rugby (MLR).

Koroiduadua is recognized as one of Fiji’s promising young talents, and is expected to add a substantial level of power and physicality to the Free Jacks’ lineup. He has an impressive rugby background, having played over 20 matches for the Fijian Drua across three seasons in Super Rugby Pacific and gaining international experience with two caps for the Flying Fijians, including being part of the squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Weighing in at 255 pounds, Koroiduadua is known for his impactful athleticism, excelling in collisions both with and without the ball, making him a vital asset to the Free Jacks’ forward pack.
