The New England Free Jacks have announced the signing of Jone Koroiduadua, a prop from the Fijian Drua. The 25-year-old from Nalebaleba, Nadroga has been with the Drua since the 2022 season, following a two-year period with the French Top 14 club Clermont.
In a statement, the Free Jacks highlighted Koroiduadua’s potential to significantly enhance their front row as they look to build on their recent achievements in Major League Rugby (MLR). They described him as one of Fiji’s most promising talents and emphasized that he will provide a significant boost in power and physicality to their lineup.
Koroiduadua comes with a strong rugby background, having played more than 20 matches for the Fijian Drua over three seasons in Super Rugby Pacific. He also gained international experience, earning two caps for the Flying Fijians, including a selection for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Weighing in at 255 pounds, Koroiduadua is recognized for his athleticism and effectiveness in collisions, both with and without the ball, making him a vital addition to the Free Jacks’ forward pack.
